There’s no doubt Nashville is a one-stop shop for all things bachelorette. Having earned the nickname “Nashvegas,” this city has set itself apart with its live music scene, Broadway honky-tonks, delicious eateries, and premiere location. While many view Nashville as only a party hotspot, this city has plenty to offer any type of bride for a one-of-a-kind bachelorette weekend!

Party Planning With the Bride in Mind

Running a tourism business, we’ve witnessed all sorts of bachelorette parties with various themes as well as guests from different backgrounds. We understand that not one size fits all. There are numerous activity and itinerary options depending on the personality of the bride and the bachelorette party they envision. For the party planner, that can be VERY overwhelming, especially if they’ve never visited Music City! That’s why we’ve made it our goal to be your Nashville bachelorette party guide by compiling our must-dos, sees, and eats of Nash for the most memorable bachelorette party—no matter what type of bride you’re planning for. Mix and match the following experiences for a bachelorette party that will truly be a dream come true!

The Partier

Get ready to party with this lineup! A Broadway bar-hopping extravaganza would be perfect for a bride looking to take advantage of all the top spots for booze and music. We’ve listed some of our favorites offering a range of vibes, from country to clubbing and everything in between. You can’t go wrong!

Nothing screams bachelorette party more than an Instagrammable experience! How about a Mimosa brunch at the Hampton Social? Or a happy hour on the rooftop of the Graduate Hotel at the White Limozeen, aka Dolly Parton’s stylish, all-pink venue? Both of these options are sure to bring the party.

A bachelorette party isn’t complete without party favors! To top off the glam, we’ve come up with the following list to consider:

  • Custom sash for the bride
  • Party fanny packs
  • Hangover kits
  • Party cups
  • Bachelorette party dare cards to spice up bar fun with your group

What to Consider When Planning a Bachelorette Party

Plan ahead. Whether you’re a seasoned bachelorette party planner or new to the scene, we can’t stress enough the importance of planning ahead. You’ll want to get some basics down first and ask yourself these questions: How big is your group? Where do you want to stay? Will you need to make reservations/buy tickets? What is your budget per person? Answering these key questions will create a great baseline for planning the ideal itinerary. Nashville can be extremely crowded on weekends and therefore sold out at many places far in advance, so it pays to plan!

Consider the time of year. Do some research on dates before arriving. It’s important to keep in mind other events that may occur during your desired dates to gauge how crowded and occupied places will be. Some of the peak times include the summer months (May through August), major holidays (4th of July & Memorial Day Weekend), and annual events like the Country Music Awards. Many live shows, concerts, and sporting events are scheduled in the city throughout the year, so we encourage you to check Nashville’s event calendar

Reserve transportation and accommodations. Ubers/Lyfts are very accessible in and around Nashville, but you’ll likely encounter longer wait times and/or surge pricing during peak seasons. Consider scheduling your Ubers at the beginning of the day for confirmed reservation times. This will reduce stress and hassle when it comes time for the party to begin! Want to save some money? Nashville is an accessible walking city with great restaurants and activities in proximity to many hotels/Airbnbs. Here is a list of our favorite downtown hotels with various price ranges:

Practical Tips

  • Consider sharing your location with each of your group members for misplaced phones and/or a lost group member!
  • Delegate a point of contact person for all reservations to keep everyone on time.
  • Download the Splitwise app to easily divide and conquer all expenses.
  • Pack those purses like a survival kit. Don’t forget snacks, water, portable chargers, hand sanitizer, Advil, bandaids, and cash.

Leave the Planning to the Pros

In over your head? We’ve got you! There’s no shame in asking for some planning and budgeting assistance when you’re trying to create the best experience for your bride! Our friends over at Bach Babes are pros at adding a little ~spice~ to all things bachelorette. With everything from itinerary planning, decor-setup, champagne stations, and more, they’ve got you covered. They’ll even get you a discount on a cruise with Pontoon Saloon!
