Solar Eclipse Viewing Party on the Pontoon Saloon
Join us for a viewing party for the Solar Eclipse on August 21st, 2017. The Pontoon will be the place to be to watch nature’s beauty and this once in a lifetime event. Nashville is one of the largest cities in the path of the solar eclipse and we will have about 2 minutes of total visibility. This is the first total eclipse in over 99 years to cross over the United States, so why not make it an event to remember. The celestial event will be an amazing experience as we watch the moon completely cover the sun. The partial phase will start at 11:58 CST and we will begin to see totality at 1:27 CST. Day turning to night.
We will host a 3hr cruise to view the eclipse as it crosses over Nashville. The cost of the cruise does provide you with the certified glasses in order to watch the event, and of course our cruise will still be BYOB. This cruise will be out of our normal dock location.
