No Smoking Allowed

Smoking and drugs of any kind are not allowed on the Pontoon Saloon. We are a USCG, a federally regulated vessel operating on a federal waterway!

Boarding Location & Parking

All Cruises, unless stated otherwise in your confirmation email, embark and disembark from the downtown docks at 2 Victory Ave Nashville, TN 37213. Please review your confirmation email for the exact address and map details for your cruise departure location.

Getting to 2 Victory Ave: Due to Development and construction nearby, parking is very limited. We do apologize for the inconvenience. We highly encourage using rideshare or walking over from Broadway.

For Drop-Off: use 2 Victory Ave Nashville TN 37213. This will bring you to the Bridge Buidling at the corner of Victory & Titans Way. Look for signs to Riverfront Docks East & Pontoon Saloon. We are located in front of the Bridge Building right beside the large red sculpture on the water.

Parking Recommendations: If driving and need parking please arrive an hour early to find parking and get checked-in on time.**No Parking Available: 4/25-27, 5/1, 5/3, 5/10, 5/20, 5/31, 6/1, 7/22, 9/13, 11/27**

Parking options:

Lot R: 2 Victory Ave: Follow signs to “Bridge Building” (not available on event dates)
Street Parking near Nissan Stadium: Along Titans Way & S 1st St. (will be limited due to construction)
Premier Parking Pinnacle Garage, 150 3rd Ave S Nashville 37201 (Broadway side of river)

Rules of Conduct

The following actions are prohibited on the Pontoon Saloon. The staff has the discretion to deny boarding and remove any passengers or cancel the cruise if these rules are violated or if any inappropriate behavior is escalated. No refund will be issued. If individuals arrive overly intoxicated our staff has the discretion to deny them boarding for the cruise.

Public Urination
Littering

For any vomiting, public urination, or littering on the Pontoon Saloon or dock, there will be a $250 fine charged to the card on file.

What drinks options are available onboard and how much?

FULLY STOCKED BAR OF CANNED OPTIONS FOR EVERYONE

PUBLIC CRUISE: Our bar service on all public cruises includes a variety of local beer, domestic beer, NA Beers, seltzer, wine, champagne, and canned cocktails. Prices range between $5 to $10 per drink, with bucket options available! Mimosas kits available for Mimosa Cruises: premium Underwood Bubbles sold by the can. $15/can (all taxes included) equals 3 mimosas ($5 per mimosa).

PRIVATE CRUISE: Modified full bar available with several different alcohol packages! Please inquiry here for more details.

BACH PARTY CRUISE: Beer & seltzers are included in your ticket price. Additional options such as Wine, champagne, canned liquor drinks are available for purchase onboard.

OUTSIDE BEVERAGES ARE NOT PERMITTED

What is Pontoon Saloon's Cancellation Policy?

Our Cancellation policy is clearly stated online and in our terms and conditions, if you have questions about this policy please do not hesitate to email us or call.

TRIP PROTECTION: Only available for Public & Bach Cruises. If you purchased trip protection, you are now protected if you would like to cancel your trip. Written notice is required 48 hrs in advance to receive your refund, less the cost of Trip Protection & Booking Fees. Trip Protection also has you covered in case of inclement weather! Without this purchase, your booking is non-refundable 14 days prior to your cruise for Public Cruises and 30 days prior for BACH Cruises.

PUBLIC CRUISE: Full refund 14 days before cruise departure time. Cancellations within 14 days, no-shows, late for departure are 100% non-refundable, non-transferable. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you on another cruise with a 20% change fee, we understand life happens. The 14+ day cancellation policy applies to any change in the guest count for a reservation. Public Cruises include Mimosa Cruise, Pontoon Party Cruise, & Sunset Party Cruise.

LUXURY PRIVATE PARTY CRUISE: A 50% non-refundable deposit is applied to all reservations. In the event you cancel, you will receive 50% of the total refunded with written notice 30 days prior to your cruise date. No refund if canceled within 30 days of your cruise date, we do offer the option to change the date of your cruise within the current season, and no refund/transfer within 48 hours of departure time (a 20% change fee will be applied for Friday / Saturday & Holiday reservations). If you no-show for the cruise there is no refund or rescheduling options.

BACH PARTY CRUISE: The policy is a full refund 30 days prior to cruise departure time less the non-refundable 10% booking fee (10% of the subtotal which includes the ticket and alcohol package). Cancellations within 30 days, no-shows, or late for departure are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable. The 30+ day cancellation policy applies to any change in the guest count for a reservation. Please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate on another cruise with a 20% change fee, we understand life happens.

WEATHER CANCELLATION POLICY

Cruises operate rain or shine since 3/4 of the boat has a covered roof. If Pontoon Saloon cancels due to severe weather we offer a refund of 50% or 100% toward a gift card for use at any future date. We will notify you 1.5 hours in advance if we need to delay or cancel your cruise.

CHANGES TO EXISTING RESERVATIONS

If you need to cancel or make changes to an existing reservation, including adding or reducing the number of people in your party, please email us at info@pontoonsaloontn.com.

Waiver

It is mandatory that each passenger fill out this waiver prior to boarding. The waiver is accessible from the booking confirmation email. If you did not book the tour please contact your group leader to email or text you the link to the waiver so we know who has signed for your reservation. It saves time, so please do this before you arrive, or your group will not board until it is completed. Once submitted you are done.

What is the pontoon's capacity?

Our boats hold 47 Guests plus 2 crew members for Private Cruises & Bach Cruises and about 40 guests plus 2 crew members for Public Cruises.

What is the age limit and do I need my ID?

Public Cruises are 21+ and 18+ if accompanied by an adult/parent. Private Cruises are all ages. Bach Cruise is 21+. A valid ID is required to purchase and consume alcohol. We must see a physical copy of your ID – we cannot accept photocopies and pictures.

When is your operating season?

Our main season is March–November. During our winter season, which runs December–February, we offer discounted private cruise tours and limited public cruises on certain weekends. Please contact us for information on specific dates.

What's the difference between Public and BACH Party Cruises?

Our public river boat tours include the Mimosa Cruise, Pontoon Party Cruise, and Sunsets & Skylines Cruise. These cruises have a bar atmosphere with mixed groups, dancing, drinking games, and fun music. Our public cruises have a bar on board.

The Bach Party Cruise is a public cruise but it’s only for bachelorette & bachelor parties. There are typically around 4 different groups on the boat. This cruise includes a variety of beer and seltzers in the ticket price.

Is swimming allowed?

NO, the Pontoon Saloon does NOT allow swimming. The Cumberland River is a fast flowing river with a strong current. If anyone purposefully jumps overboard during their trip they will be fined up to $500.

Restroom onboard?

Yes! We have thought of it all, a restroom is onboard! But PLEASE – no number 2’s on this cruise!

How early should I book my trip?

We recommend booking as soon as you decide on your cruise time. Especially if you have 8+ in your group you will want to book at least 45 days out. Our Friday & Saturday cruises sell out fast. We have limited availability for private cruise times Thursday – Saturday. We have more availability Monday – Wednesday for corporate outings, so we typically recommend booking within 30-45 days prior to your event date.

How early should I arrive before the cruise departs?

30 minutes prior to launch. You will need to check in, sign waivers, and load all passengers, so be sure to give yourself enough time as Nashville traffic can be very congested and Ridehsare can be unreliable. We encourage arriving early and walking over the pedestrian bridge from Broadway.

How long are the cruises?

Cruises are 2 hours. Private cruises have an option to add an extra hour depending on availability. Contact us for pricing.

Is there seating?

We have roughly 25 – 30 seats available divided amongst the tables so each group has access to several chairs. Keep in mind this is an upbeat, get out of your seat booze cruise! We encourage everyone to mingle and there is plenty of room for dancing!

Can we decorate the boat?

If you reserved a private boat you are welcome to decorate and set up any essentials you may need. Please reach out and get approval for any large items.

For public cruises, you are welcome to bring props/small party supplies.

Do you offer catered parties?

Private cruises can be catered and we offer alcohol delivery! Whether you want light appetizers, Nashville Hot Chicken, or BBQ, we can help supply for your event. We work with Hattie Bs Hot Chicken, Martin’s BBQ, and Crave Catering. Please reach out to us for menus and pricing! We do not offer/ allow food on public cruises.

Private Cruises Options

Private cruises are a great option if you want to have the boat exclusively to your party, have control over the music selection, plan to bring food, birthday cakes, catering, or enjoy live music! We have capacity for up to 47 passengers and 45 passengers with live music. Our Cruise Coordinators can assist with catering and alcohol packages, delivery, and setup. You can book a private river cruise for any group size up to 47 passengers.

A public riverboat cruise is always a good option for groups less than 16, and it costs less if you have a smaller group and want to party with others! Please note we do not allow catering or large food platters. A bar is onboard with options from local beer, domestic, canned cocktails, and wine!

Is the Vessel Wheelchair Accessible?

Yes, ADA access is provided to the Vessel. Due to a height difference between the dock and the vessel (6″-12″) it does require assistance to get onboard. We have had plenty of customers with wheelchairs join us on the cruise and have a great experience on the boat. This is up to the customer to decide if this experience is right for them and if they feel comfortable with being assisted on to the vessel. Our staff is trained and able to safely assist the guest onboard. Once you are on the vessel, our doors are plenty wide. Please keep in mind, the bathroom is not accessible and could be a challenge if needed. There is a public restroom onsite at the marina that is available for use before and after the cruise.
